Annual Lecture and AGM

On Saturday 18th November we will be holding our Annual Lecture and AGM.  The AGM will start at 7pm; it will be short but is the opportunity for Friends to get involved with ideas for future events, fund-raising or the running of the organisation. This will be followed by refreshments around 7.30pm and then at 7.45pm we will welcome Katharine Eustace, local resident, former curator at the Ashmolean, and expert in art and sculpture to speak to us.  Her subject is “The Stones of Kidlington.  St Mary’s: History Before your Eyes and Under your Feet”.  This will unfold some of the hidden story of St Mary’s as we approach its 800th birthday in 2020.

If you would like to know more about joining the Friends, please come along on 18th November or see here.
